In conjunction with Narre CLC we offer the following courses especially at the Narre Community Learning Centre

Thursdays: HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid (Blended Delivery) 9am to 1pm

Fridays: HLTAID001 Provide CPR 9am to 12pm

We can cater courses for both individuals, small groups and company settings, either in our offices or come direct to you at your

Accredited Courses Available

Provide CPR to HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Clients will learn the following elements as per the unit of competency:

  • Respond to signs of an unconscious casualty
  • Provide CPR
  • Communicate details of the incident

Upon successful completion of this unit of competency clients will be able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

22300VIC – Course in first aid management of anaphylaxis

Graduates of the Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis will be able to assist a person suffering an anaphylactic reaction, until the arrival of medical assistance.

This course is aimed at clients wishing to work in any industry or the general community who wish to gain first aid skills for their workplace or personal benefit. This course is of particular interest to those people working in childcare and primary or secondary schools.

HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid
This unit of competency develops the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is aimed at clients wishing work in any industry or the general community who wish to gain first aid skills for their workplace or personal benefit. This course is of particular interest to those people working in childcare, primary or secondary schools, aged care and industrial workplaces.

Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education & Care setting – HLTAID004

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.
